Welcome to a special place we have put aside to celebrate the fact that Chesterfield will be hosting Grand Lodge meetings in the year 2011.
We are all looking forward to welcoming Grand Lodge Members and delegates to our Province. Preparations are in place to make it a

Where is it Held?
We have found for you a fine venue. The Winding Wheel is a grade 2 listed building situated on the edge of the town centre,
a former cinema the Winding Wheel was restored in the late 1980s by Chesterfield Borough Council to provide a much needed multi
purpose venue.
Three very diverse rooms make the Winding Wheel the perfect place for Grand Lodge, the Auditorium holds up to 1000 people,
the Ballroom up to 200, and there is a small Function Room holding up to 120 is the ideal location for smaller events such as Minor
Lodge meetings.

Where Shall We Stay?
Chesterfield has a range of hotels, names such as IBIS, Premier Inn and Travel Lodge will be familiar, but there are others such
as The Portland, Ringwood Hall and The Sandpiper not too far from the town centre. There are also a plethera of B&Bs in the
town centre region, but the most convenient place to stay is The Chesterfield Hotel, which is located 10 minutesaway from
